Rocket x Lunch SS14: mesh, knitted stripes and neoprene
By Elisa, Chief Wanderer and Wandering Minds Founder
At Wandering Minds, we're known for discovering and scouting the coolest Korean labels. The Western world is only just coming to the realisation that Seoul is the hottest fashion destination when it comes to unique, independent fashion labels. Well, we had seen that coming, like, YEARS ago. Just sayin'. Anyway, we've taken the time to develop great relationships with great designers, and one of the most popular one, both online and at our Boxpark store, adored by Shoreditch hipsters and edgy tourists alike, is young Seoul-based label Rocket x Lunch.
Launched by a young husband-and-wife duo, Rocket x Lunch re-invents the notion of wearable fashion, with unique silhouettes and cool fabrics. Don't get me wrong though - this is not weird, 'conceptual' fashion. It's all very wearable, very easy, but it also looks effortlessly different. We received last week a big box of new SS14 treasures at our store in Boxpark, and I swear to god it was better than Christmas. For SS14, the label has given us sheer cropped tops with textured stripes, effortless knitted yet light tops and midi skirts with mesh inserts. We're super busy at the moment, and have not had time to put the collection online yet, so if you can, do drop by our Boxpark store before it sells out.
But here's a few pictures from their lookbook to wet your style appetites.
