Minimalism has made a massive come-back from the 1990s, and has recently influenced both catwalks and street style. Pulling off a simple, paired-down look is now an indication of true style. Think streamlined silhouettes with high-waisted jersey skirts, simple tees and slightly oversized shirts worn opened as layers. Add simple textured elements and volume with knitted socks and boyish ankle boots, and keep colours and prints simple but interesting with stripes, light denim and marl colours.
